Online

On 27 November, RAM is pleased to invite you to a Conference on “The Role of banks in art transactions”.

The art market has grown, multi-billion dollar industry where trust, transparency, and liquidity are paramount. Banks play a critical yet often understated role in shaping this ecosystem – wether trough financing, due diligence, risk management, or compliance with anti-money laundering frameworks. In recent years, financial institution have become increasingly vigilant in their approach to art transactions, reflecting both regulatory demands and the need to protect clients’ interests.

This panel will bring together market experts to explore how financial institutions can safeguard clients while also enabling art transactions. The aim of this panel is to examine where the risks are, and how we can approach these risks so that banks and supervisory authority feel more comfortable engaging in the art market.
